Update Firmware on Maestro and Everest CP

Update the Maestro Loader Firmware

Use the Rimage System Utility to update the firmware of the Maestro Loader. In order for this utility to run, the Rimage USB Producer service must not be running.

  1. Navigate: Windows button > type Services > select the Services app.
  2. Right-click on Rimage USB Producer and select Stop.
  3. Navigate: Windows button > Rimage Automation Suite > Rimage System Utility
  4. Press the … button to open a browsing window.
  5. Browse for and select the loader firmware .bin file.
  6. Press the Update firmware button.
  7. After the firmware update is complete, close the Rimage System Utility.
  8. In the Services window, right-click Rimage USB Producer and select start.
  9. Close the Services window.

Update the Everest Encore CP Firmware

Use the Everest Printer Utilities to update the firmware in the Everest Encore CP.

  1. Navigate: Windows button > Rimage Automation Suite > Everest Printer Utilities
  2. Select the Firmware Update tab.
  3. Press the Select button.
  4. Browse for and select the printer firmware .hex file.
  5. Press the Update Firmware button.
  6. After the firmware update completes, close the Everest Printer Utilities.
