The non-embedded Producer III reached End of Life earlier than the embedded systems. It originally shipped only with an external control center loaded with Windows XP. 

Unfortunately, the non-embedded systems are only supported on Producer Software Suite 8.2 and earlier. In order to support Windows 7, a system is required to run a minimum of Rimage Software Suite 8.5.

As the non-embedded systems have not been tested with Windows 7 or RSS 8.5 or later, as well as the original external control center not being recommended for Windows 7 due to the specifications, it is not recommended or supported to operate a non-embedded Producer III on Windows 7.
