Rimage continually updates our systems and software to maintain pace with technology advancements.  Microsoft periodically releases new OS (operating system) versions and eventually stops supporting old versions. 

Past generations of Rimage Disc Publishing systems shipped with Windows XP Pro Embedded.  Because Microsoft has announced the end of Windows XP OS support, we recognize that many corporate users are migrating their business platforms to Windows 7.  Rimage does provide options to allow disc publishing processes and Rimage publishing systems to migrate to Windows 7.

After April 2014, Microsoft will not provide support for new security updates, non-security hotfixes, assisted support options, or online technical content updates for Windows XP Pro Embedded.  Rimage will continue to provide Service and Support for embedded Rimage products utilizing the Windows XP Pro Embedded OS as part of the original system purchase.  You will not experience any change to your Rimage maintenance agreement support for the near future.
