The ribbon installation procedure can be found in the Prism III User Guide.
IMPORTANT: When installing a new ribbon on a Prism III printer, do not remove the RFID tag off the end of the payout roll. Removal will prevent the printer from detecting the ribbon.
If the RFID tag has been removed, it will need to be re-seated for the printer to detect the ribbon.
- Install the intake spool into the ribbon payout roll.
- Use the spindle as a guide to center the tag on the left side of the ribbon. Approximate center should be sufficient.
