Prism - Changing the mode on a Prism printer.

  • Updated

If your Prism printer is not communicating with or responding to the autoloader it is attached to or the printer tray is opening randomly, the printer may be in the wrong mode. There are two modes for the Prism printer: Standalone/Autoloader mode and Autoprinter mode.

  • Note: Standalone/Autoloader mode is for a Prism printer that is connected to a computer or to a Rimage Producer or Professional autoloader that has recorders installed in it. Autoprinter mode is for a Prism printer that is connected to a Rimage Autoprinter (AutoPrism) that does not have recorders installed it.
