If the ribbon type is not set correctly in the Prism printer driver, the printer will not print. Use the procedure below to check the ribbon setting for your printer.
1. From the Windows Start menu, select Printers and Faxes. The Printers and Faxes window opens.
2. Right-click Perfect Image Printer PF and select Properties. The Properties window opens.
3. Select the Device Settings tab.
4. Make sure that the type of ribbon that displays on the Device Settings tab matches the type of ribbon that you have manually installed in your printer. The ribbon choices are:
- Monocolor Color
- Three Panel CMY
Note: If Prism on COMx is listed in the Printers and Faxes window, repeat steps 2 - 4 to check the ribbon settings for this printer driver as well.
