Correcting jagged text on printed discs.

  • Updated
Generally, text created with the anti-aliasing setting turned on will not print well on the Everest or Prism printer. You may get a "jagged" or a "step" look.

If you are printing a PDF label file, make sure that the anti-aliasing setting is turned off in Adobe Acrobat or Photoshop when you create the label. If you are importing a graphic with text into CD Designer, make sure anti-aliasing was not used during the creation of the text.

  • Tip: To turn the anti-alias setting off in Photoshop, right-click on the layer that contains the text you want to edit, then select Anti Alias None from the menu that displays. Refer to Adobe Acrobat Help or Photoshop Help for more information on the anti-alias setting.
